About

Cleanroom Engineering Design (CED) is a design firm of Professional Engineers and Design Professionals specializing in the planning and design of ISO-certified cleanroom facilities and specialized environment laboratory spaces throughout the design process, from establishing design criteria and floor plans in the planning and programming phases, through final construction documentation and construction site observations.

Our planning and design process is based on an interactive approach that involves the project stakeholders, facility user groups and maintenance staff, and design team Architects and Engineers to develop solutions for each client’s unique requirements. Experiences with a wide variety of current and past projects benefits each new project with gained knowledge of challenges and successful solutions to meet the high demands of the technical spaces in cleanroom and laboratory facilities.

We utilize a multi-dimensional design approach to cleanroom and laboratory design with drawings and details in AutoCAD as well as 3-D Building Information Modeling (BIM) in Revit. Our approach provides coordination of the design with architectural and engineering building system components and assists with communication and interactive design with the client to improve the quality of cleanroom design and project delivery.

Construction documentation includes detailed system load demand calculations for Mechanical/Electrical/Plumbing (MEP) systems, design drawings in AutoCAD, Revit 3- D BIM coordination, and written performance specifications for all cleanroom Architectural and MEP systems.
